Natural Hazards

Our experienced team can provide expert advice on the risks presented by most natural hazards.

In particular, we have in-depth knowledge of those present across Otago and how these could be mitigated or remediated by sound engineering design. Recently we have been involved with:

  • Landslide assessment and remedial design
  • Alluvial fan and debris flow assessment
  • Rockfall modelling
  • Computer modelling and mitigation works design
  • Liquefaction assessments and CPEng signoff as required by council regulations
  • Flood assessment and modelling
  • Emergency response planning
