We assess catchments & fans potentially prone to debris flow/debris flood. This allows the likelihood, potential consequences & subsequent risk to be quantified for this unique hazard.

  • 2D numerical modelling of debris flow path & runout in RAMMS

  • Design of debris flow mitigation such as deflection bunds or debris flow fences
