1993 to 2013: Tonkin & Taylor Ltd Otago Branch
Starting in Christchurch, Graham Salt, now GeoSolve's Technical Director, established the South Island offices of Tonkin & Taylor Ltd, a larger international consultancy. He then went on to establish the Dunedin, Cromwell and Queenstown offices where GeoSolve staff still operate today.
2013 to Present: GeoSolve Engineering Consultants
The former Otago staff of Tonkin & Taylor Ltd formed GeoSolve to meet the particular needs of the Otago and Southland market. For our clients there was no reduction in the range of professional services provided or in the staff providing the services. We have now grown to over 50 staff based out of offices in Dunedin, Cromwell, Queenstown, Wanaka and Invercargill with remote staff also based in Auckland and Waihi. Pavement testing is undertaken across New Zealand and abroad, with operational staff based out of Cromwell, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland.

Clients can be confident that their projects are well managed and documented with efficient and effective planning, communication and administration. We are also a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers NZ (ACENZ).
