Pavement Deflection Testing - Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD)

GeoSolve is offering pavement deflection testing using he light weight deflectometer (a small portable version of the FWD). The LWD is used worldwide for testing the subgrade and subbase layer during construction of new pavement and site investigations of existing pavement.

The Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD) is a lightweight FWD, using the same load cells and geophones. Applying loads from 0-15kN makes the LWD an ideal tool for testing subbase and subgrade materials to determine both the modulus and compaction. Layer modulus are viewed in real time and reports can be viewed on site.
