Simon is an senior engineering geologist based in our Queenstown office. He has expertise in managing large geotechnical site investigations and interpreting that data for commercial and residential development projects within NZ and abroad. He has particular interest in slope stability risk assessment and remediation, and construction on steep sites or those with unfavourable ground conditions. Simon contributed to the geotechnical response following both the 2010 Canterbury Earthquakes Sequence and 2016 Kaikoura Earthquakes. Simon also has expertise in undertaking natural hazard modelling, assessment and quantitative risk analysis.
