FALEOLO AIRPORT EXTENSION


GeoSolve undertook geotechnical sampling, testing and analysis to assist in the preparation of a suitable pavement design for the proposed pavement apron extension at the Faleolo International Airport, Samoa. 

The investigation involved:

  • Coordination of 10 machine boreholes

  • Excavated test pits

  • Lightweight Deflectometer (LWD) testing

  • Suite of laboratory tests including sieve analysis, Atterburg limits, CBR, maximum dry density, constant-head permeability tests
